We play corn hole together at a team outing in Brooklyn and DESTROY the competition / start to develop crushes on each other.
November + December
Amy and I start hanging out with Ben and his roommate, Ori, at work.
December 31, 2014
Amy and I invite Ben to our New Year's Eve party, and he comes.
January 2, 2015
Ben invites Amy and me to get Korean BBQ with him. We eat food, then go to a bar, get drunk, and have a great night. Too little too late, we realize the trains are messed up, and Amy and I tell Ben to just crash at our apartment. He sleeps in my bed while I share Amy's. It's all very innocent, and the next day we binge-watch The Misfits.
All of January
Ben hangs out with Amy and me a lot. Like, A LOT a lot. We mostly play Rummikub, and Ori joins when he's not in culinary school.
February 8, 2015
A coworker invites Ben and me to be extras in a comedy video, and we spend the full day together. Towards the end of the day, Ben abruptly confesses his feelings for me, and I tell him I feel the same way. He also IMMEDIATELY assumes we're boyfriend/girlfriend, lol.
Mid-February
Caroline Boddiford asks me if we're official, so I ask Ben if we're official, and he's like, "YES, DUH. WASN'T THAT ALREADY ESTABLISHED?" (No.)
February-December
We date and say I love you and meet each others' friends and family and eat a lot of food and go to Atlanta and Montreal and Baltimore and Berlin and North Carolina and Charleston and Seattle. We spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together even though Ben's a Jew.
December 27, 2015
Ben asks me to marry him with a Rummikub tile (the yellow 7). I keep asking him if this is a joke and make him slow down and repeat everything he just said so I won't forget it. I cry and also laugh because I'm freaking out. And then we both freak out and talk about it for a while and eat the gouda cheese Ben bought because I casually told him once that I would never want an engagement ring served in a champagne glass or hidden in a cupcake but I would accept a ring in a big block of gouda cheese. Eventually we get ready for dinner while calling friends and family, and then we eat at our favorite restaurant, Colonie, and drink champagne and get really full because it's SO good, you should really go there next time you're on Atlantic Avenue.
January 2-19, 2016
Ben's cousin Ben Bloom marries Sabina in India on January 14, so we visit Amsterdam then India then Switzerland. In short: It's awesome.

We travel to Italy for Aubree and Quinn's wedding where we stuff our faces with cheese and pasta and drink way too much wine. We're like two fat cats eating caviar in a phone booth!
