Directions
We're getting married at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. You can fly there, take a train, drive your car, or hop on a bus. Some helpful info is below.
PLANES
Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is king, but you can also fly to Ronald Reagan (DCA) or Washington Dulles (IAD) airports in DC.
If you fly into DC, you'll have to drive at least 1.5 hours. From BWI, you can get to the Inner Harbor in 20 minutes by car or an hour by public transit.
Questions? Check the internet. Still unsure? Ask Ben and/or Casey!
TRAINS
Amtrak, baby!
If you're taking a train from New York or DC (or even Salisbury if you have 9+ hours to spare), you'll want to arrive at Baltimore Penn Station (BAL). From there, it's a 15-minute drive to the Inner Harbor.
AUTOMOBILES
"Casey, Ben...tell me: Should I rent a car?"
Well, that's up to you. It is possible to get to Baltimore via train or plane, then cab and/or Uber your way around for the weekend.
Our wedding and reception are at the same location AND we booked room blocks at nearby hotels. But if you want the assurance of having a car of your own, that's your call.
ALSO, KNOW THIS: On-site parking at AVAM is very limited. We recommend walking or cabbing the night of the wedding. We gon' be drinking, so it's a good idea anyway!
Hotel parking info is listed further below.
